Description
Plantation Guyana Vintage 2007 is an exceptionally complex and rare 15-year-old limited edition rum. It’s part of Maison Ferrand’s “Under the Sea” (or “Vintage Collection”) range. It was distilled in Guyana in 2007 (at the famous Diamond Distillery) using a combination of traditional stills, including the historic wooden Port Mourant pot still, which is over 300 years old. It follows the house’s classic double aging philosophy:
Tropical aging: 13 years in Guyana in 200-liter ex-Bourbon barrels.
Continental aging: 2 years in France in 350-liter Ferrand cognac barrels.
