Mikra Thira – literally the name of the island of Thirasia/ Santorini – is the name that three winemakers, Vangelis Gerovasileiou, Vassilis Tsaktsarlis and Ioanna Vamvakouri, chose for their venture. In their PDO Santorini wine, the local Assyrtiko appears at its best. Lemon yellow colour with green hues in the glass, nose dominated by aromas of green herbs and stone fruits, dense and salty on the palate. Typical, but also special.
