Description
Made from the estate’s oldest vines, over 25 years old, with low yields. It has a deep black-red color with violet hues and a complex bouquet dominated by aromas of ripe plum, blackberry, and red pepper. On the palate it’s very rich, with firm tannins, well-structured, and a long finish. Ideal for those who like to cellar red wines for 20–25 years. Best served at 16–18°C. Just before drinking, the wine opens up aromatically if decanted into a glass carafe for 30 minutes.
Paired with game, lamb with vegetables, red meat fillets, and hard cheeses.
