Description
Deep ruby colour. The nose shows a pungent character composed of tobacco, vanilla, and caramel notes, emerging over a background of ripe red fruit and chocolate. Full on the palate, with volume, rich structure, and a flavourful freshness that creates a lingering, spicy finish.
Paired with lamb in the oven, veal in tomato sauce, red game, pork on the grill, meat pies, and generally any dish that is intense in flavour and rich in texture.
