Description
Deep ruby colour with purple hints. Powerful, pungent aromas of red fruits, dried plum, and pepper. Full-bodied, bold, velvety, round, balanced, with notes of vanilla, oak and mocha. Balanced flavour and solid tannins through the finish, long aftertaste aromas dominated by the notes of spices and dried forest fruits. An excellent aged wine.
Paired with red meat, grilled or in rich, sweet or spicy sauces, game, and meat pies, Cretan graviera cheese, Batzos cheese or pan-fried kefalograviera.
