Plantation Fiji Vintage 2009 is an excellent, limited edition 9-year-old rum. It’s a collaboration between the South Pacific Distillery in the Fiji Islands and Alexandre Gabriel, master blender of the French house Maison Ferrand. This rum stands out for its double aging process:
Tropical aging: 7 years in the Fiji Islands in ex-Bourbon barrels.
Continental aging: 2 years in France, in the Ferrand house’s cognac barrels.
