Made from the native Greek varieties Limnio, Mavroudi, and Mavrotragano. Limnio — mentioned by Aristotle in the 5th century BC as “Lemnian vine” — is Greece’s oldest grape variety and dominates the blend. The wine is aged for roughly 12 to 18 months in French oak barrels. It has a bright deep-purple color, a complex bouquet of spice with ripe black fruit (blackberry), raisin, coffee, and cocoa. On the palate, refined tannins are supported by abundant fruit, creating power and balance. The finish is long, with recurring spice notes. It shows strong aging potential (15–20 years) and is best served at 16–18°C.
